Team ‘Water for Africa’, The Gambia, training drillers on the new drilling rig. This rig was designed and built by Water for Africa, in the UK. The building works on the ‘Samuel Levy Training Academy’, are progressing well and when completed, will specialise in training African’s in sustainable building and development. The Water Academy will be used for training and teaching in all aspects of sustainable groundwater resource management and basic agriculture including borehole drilling, water storage, irrigation and solar system installation. The Academy will also specialise in providing access and training on different types of agricultural equipment.
